With 17 years of floristry expertise, specializing in weddings, funerals, and retail, I've proudly managed my own business for the past 12 years. However, after the birth of my daughter, Blossom, I decided to take a step back from the hustle and bustle of retail and channel my energy into my true passion for teaching and creating memorable events.

Throughout the years, I've had the privilege of instructing numerous workshops, and what truly warms my heart is witnessing the creativity and sheer joy each student brings to our sessions.
My workshops cater to a diverse range of learners, from those just starting with hand-tied arrangements to introductory floristry courses. Moreover, I encourage you to embrace your unique style, and for those seeking personalized guidance, I offer one-on-one sessions.

Meet Kerrie, the passionate owner of Highgate Florist & Flower School. With two decades of experience as a skilled florist, Kerrie's journey with flowers is deeply rooted in her childhood, having grown up on her family's flower farm. It was amidst the vibrant blooms and fragrant petals that her love for flowers first blossomed.

Kerrie's path to becoming a florist took an inspiring turn in her early 20s. Struggling with crippling anxiety and debilitating panic attacks, she embarked on a transformative journey of self-discovery. It was during this time that she unearthed the profound healing power of nature and the therapeutic qualities of flower arranging.
This revelation led her to not only find solace in the art of floristry but also to recognize its ability to bring relaxation and inner peace to others.
Today, through Highgate Florist & Flower School, Kerrie passionately shares her knowledge and love for flowers with the world, offering a haven where individuals can embrace the restorative and calming essence of working with flowers.
